Every once in a while it'll be fine, and then randomly it'll disconnect again. I do troubleshooting, and sometimes it'll fix itself. Other times it's forcing me to restart my computer. The odd thing is, I've had this problem in the past, maybe 2 or 3 years ago. It ended up going away randomly, and now, for the past few months, it's been an issue again.

I don't know if it might've been from a Windows update or what, but it's just refusing to stay connected, and loses the connection frequently. When it does lose the connection, I troubleshoot, and either it resets the adapter itself, and starts working again, or it'll force me to restart my computer.

But, it's annoying to have to keep doing that every time. I also know it has nothing to do with my router because everything else in my house is working perfectly fine.

If issue persist, proceed with these steps and download and install the updated Realtek drivers. Go to this link and download the driver. Once downloaded, save it to your desktop dont install it yet.
